12 Legit Ways To Get Free Stuff on Temu

Looking to get free stuff on Temu?

Like other sites like Temu, there are many ways to get free items on this app as well.

And no, I’m not talking about those scammy code generators and similar things you might find on the first page of Google.

These are all legitimate ways to get free stuff from Temu.

One of my favorite Temu hacks is to sign up for a FREE Swagbucks account, and earning free Temu gift cards just by doing the stuff I normally do online.

If you shop on Temu through Swagbucks, you can earn points back for every dollar you spend—right now, it’s up to 10% back. But to get the rewards, you have to start your shopping from the Swagbucks link.

Daily check-ins

When you open the app each day, you get a small reward.

This could be points, credits, or something similar that you can use within the app. The more you do this consecutively, the better the rewards can get.

For example, if you log in every day for a week, the reward on the seventh day might be much bigger than on the first day. You can then use these rewards to buy items or access special features in the app.

Play Games on Temu

On the Temu app, you can play games like Fishland, Farmland, Redeem Cash, Lucky Flip, and Free Gifts to earn rewards.

You can collect points by playing these games, which you can then use for discounts or special offers on the app.

The best way to get free items playing Temu games is by completing the “7-Day Watering Streak” in Farmland or the “7-Day Feeding Challenge” in Fishland.

These events pop up randomly and require you to complete a growing number of feedings or waterings each day. Expect to use around 2000g to finish one of these streaks, with daily costs increasing to 60g on day 6 and 120g on day 7.

Avoid wasting time on collecting shells, coins, or anything else that has hidden requirements (like a purchase or invitation) to get rewards.

Stick with Farmland gems or Fishland pearls, which reward you with water or food along the way.

Tips to Maximize Rewards:

  • Save your water/food for times when there’s an added benefit, like getting 10g back for every 5 feedings/waterings.
  • Stop when benefits are low or only offer spins on a wheel.
  • Keep at least 1000g in reserve for these challenges.

For share actions, you don’t need to fully share. On Android, tap the messenger or text icon, then cancel. On iOS, select “More” and tap “Copy.” These methods give credit without actually sharing.

Finally, accept one invite per day for a small benefit—1g in Farmland or 10g in Fishland.

Cashback and coupon websites

One of the most popular among these is Rakuten. When you shop on Temu through Rakuten, you can get 12% back of your purchase as cashback.

Rakuten partners with various online retailers across various categories, so you have numerous opportunities to earn cashback.

Additionally, Rakuten often offers special deals and increased cashback rates during certain times of the year, like the holiday season.

To use Rakuten, you simply sign up for an account, search for the online store you want to shop at, and click through to the store’s website from Rakuten.

After you make a purchase, the cashback is credited to your Rakuten account. You can then get this cashback via PayPal or a check.

Rakuten also offers a browser extension that makes the process even more convenient.

The extension alerts you to cashback opportunities and automatically applies coupon codes at checkout, ensuring you never miss a chance to save.

Swagbucks

When you sign up, you get a $10 bonus to start with.

On Swagbucks, you earn points by watching videos, playing video games, shopping online, completing surveys, and even through web searches.

These points can then be traded for gift cards, including those for Temu, giving you a chance to shop for free or at a discount.

InboxDollars

InboxDollars works a lot like Swagbucks. It pays you for doing things online, such as taking surveys, watching videos, and shopping.

You can choose to get your earnings in cash or as gift cards. If you like to shop on Temu, you’ll be happy to know that InboxDollars offers Temu gift cards that can be used to get free items on Temu.

Survey Junkie

One of the best survey sites out there.

While it doesn’t offer Temu gift cards directly, there’s a workaround to use your survey earnings for shopping on Temu.

When you complete surveys on Survey Junkie, you earn points that can be redeemed for cash through PayPal. Once you’ve transferred your earnings to your PayPal account, you can use that money to make purchases on Temu.

Branded Surveys

Just like Survey Junkie Branded Surveys doesn’t provide Temu gift cards directly. Y

ou can earn points by completing surveys and these points can then be redeemed for cash through PayPal.

Once you have transferred your earnings to your PayPal account, you can use this money to get free Temu stuff.

Engage with Sponsored Content

Temu often collaborates with advertisers. You can interact with various forms of content that advertisers have created specifically for Temu’s audience.

These interactions could include activities like watching promotional videos, clicking on sponsored ads, sharing content on social media, or even participating in sponsored surveys or polls.

By engaging with this sponsored content, you can earn points or rewards within the Temu platform. The specifics of these rewards can vary depending on the nature of the collaboration and the type of content.

For example, watching a video advertisement might earn you a certain number of points, while participating in a more involved activity like a survey might offer more.

Complete In-App Challenges

Look out for challenges or mini-games in the Temu app, as they are a fun and interactive way to earn rewards.

These in-app challenges often involve simple tasks or activities that can range from basic quizzes to more engaging mini-games.

By participating in these challenges, you can accumulate points or other forms of in-app currency.

These points can then be redeemed for discounts, special offers, or even free items on Temu.

Subscribe to Temu Text Messages

Some offers, like a 20% discount, might be available when you subscribe to text messages from Temu.

By opting into their SMS alerts, you gain access to exclusive deals, promotions, and updates directly on your phone.

This subscription is an effortless way to stay informed about the latest discounts and special events on Temu.

The Temu Affiliate Program

If you have a blog or a large social media following this is for you. As an affiliate, you can earn commissions by promoting Temu products to your audience.

The program typically offers a percentage-based commission on each sale made through your unique affiliate link.

Temu Influencer Program

The Temu Influencer Program is more about the quality of your audience’s engagement than just their numbers.

Unlike regular affiliate programs that focus on sales, this program values how much your followers trust and interact with your content.

If you’re part of this program, Temu might give you free products. Your job is to create engaging content with these products, like unboxing videos, reviews, or creative posts.

Does Temu actually give you free stuff?

Yes, you absolutely can get free stuff from Temu. The methods mentioned earlier are legitimate ways to earn rewards that you can use on Temu without inviting your friends. But you should keep in mind that these activities require a time commitment.

The amount of time you’re willing to invest will influence how much free stuff you can get. If you’re looking for the quickest and easiest route, signing up for welcome offers or participating in initial promotions is often the best way to start.

  1. Made three purchases on Temu through Swagbucks’ Shop and Earn in the past month and got no credit for them. All listed in the “visited” section, but no purchases actually recorded. Waste of time trying to contact support on SB these days. Temu is great for getting things cheap, but Swagbucks is not what it used to be.

And Inbox Dollars will ban you with no warning if you start earning a lot on their website. All I did was their “click and earn” emails for a huge $0.02 each and they kicked me out.

  5. I’ve gotten a lot for free from TEMU. Sometimes I’ll use the refund button that gives you the difference if a product you bought went for cheaper afterwords. I’ve played the credit game, where I got over $130. of free credit. I’ve referred people and got gifts, I’ve filled out the reviews and got gifts. There are plenty of ways. I never had much luck on the fish game, and same for the farm thing. Sometimes their game postings go so fast I can’t understand anything and just wing it. Not to say I order all the time either, but I still like to check out what they got.

  6. I’ve gotten loads of free items from Temu. They are typically gifts with purchase. What I do is search on “claimcredit”. This gets me an offer for credit back on a purchase. It says a percentage back based on how much you buy, but it is a bit misleading because there are three levels and you would think that if you buy the highest amount you get the highest percentage off your entire order. However, you get the lowest percentage off up to the lowest dollar threshold. Once that threshold is crossed, you get the next percentage back in credit until the next dollar threshold, Beyond that point, the remaining amount is credited back at the highest percentage. So it’s three credit percentages within the same order. Okay, so I place my order. Then there are credits to claim for 7 days. I go in each day and search “claimcredit” and click on “claim” to claim that day’s credits. Once you have credits, you can search on “claimcredit” again, but this time you pay with credits in part and still get more credits back, etc. Every time you place an order, you get water in the Farmland game, where you can choose free items which you ***eventually*** get. I also check my orders daily for price adjustments. The prices fluctuate all the time, but you can get multiple price adjustments on the same item if the price drops more than once. I also edit my browsing history often so that it shows items I actually want, which impacts which items are available to choose as free items. If you buy books, you can often get significant price adjustments if you find the same book on Amazon cheaper. So I get a lot of credits and then I can choose the free items I want. For the required purchases in the “claimcredit” activity, I often buy common household things like dish sponges, etc. that I need to budget for anyway, and then with the credits, I get items I want that are not necessities. I have gotten 3 free tall bookshelves, a free craft organizer cart, free clothes, free costume jewelry, and loads of other things. You do have to read the fine print on the games. There are a lot of games I don’t play because they require multiple purchases with a very small percentage of “points” that you need to get to the level where you get free stuff. It can also be very time consuming until you get a system. I recommend taking breaks where you don’t buy anything for a month or so.
